Builders Detected So Far
Every builder below has been through the same detection engine used across AI Website Detector: we fingerprint 263+ platforms by their script patterns, HTML structure, CDN and asset domains, HTTP response headers, meta tags, and cookies, then confirm each match with a confidence score before it counts toward the totals here. 82 of those builders have already been detected on real, scanned websites — the "websites detected" badge on each card is a live, deduplicated count of unique domains, not raw scans.
The six categories below aren't interchangeable — an AI website builder, an AI coding assistant, and a traditional CMS all leave very different fingerprints, and knowing which one a site actually runs on tells you something different each time (whether it was templated from a prompt, hand-coded with AI assistance, or built the traditional way). Jump to any category for a short explanation of what that class of tool actually does, then browse individual builders for detection counts and recent example sites, or visit the AI Website Gallery to see live examples grouped the same way.
Ecommerce platforms are purpose-built for selling products online: product catalogs, carts, checkout, and payment processing. Many now bundle AI features for product descriptions or store setup, but their core detection signature comes from platform-specific checkout scripts, CDN domains, and storefront markup.

Launch your own store like these sites — no coding required
Content management systems (CMS) let teams publish and manage web content without touching code for every change. They're the most established category here — most predate the current wave of AI builders — and are typically identified by consistent backend markup, asset paths, and admin-panel fingerprints rather than any single visual style.

The CMS that powers millions of websites
Traditional website builders use drag-and-drop editors: you place pre-made blocks and components yourself rather than generating them from a prompt. They sit between CMS platforms and AI builders — no coding required, but the human is still doing the layout work — and are detected via the builder's proprietary editor scripts and hosting infrastructure.

How do you know which builder a website actually uses?
We fingerprint each domain against script patterns, HTML structure, CDN/asset domains, HTTP headers, meta tags, and cookies specific to each of the builders below, then score the match for confidence before labeling it. The full methodology is on our Methodology page.
Why are some sites listed under multiple categories over time?
A domain can be rebuilt or migrated — a site that starts on a website builder may later be rebuilt with an AI builder, or vice versa. We re-scan and re-classify based on the most recent detection, so a domain's category reflects what it's currently running, not its history.
What counts as an 'AI website builder' versus an 'AI coding tool' here?
AI website builders (Framer AI, Wix ADI, Durable, etc.) generate a templated site end-to-end from a prompt. AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) assist a developer who is still writing and structuring real code. We separate them because their detection signatures — and what they imply about the site — are different.
Is the "websites detected" count for each builder exact?
It's a live count of unique domains our scanner has classified under that builder, deduplicated by hostname. It only reflects sites that have actually been scanned — it's not a full census of every site built with that tool, since we only see domains that get submitted or crawled.
