These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website located at aiwebsitedetector.com, the browser extension, and the developer API (collectively the “Service”), operated by:
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
AI Website Detector provides the following features:
The Service is provided free of charge for individual, non-commercial use. Paid plans and API access may be subject to separate pricing terms.
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently block access for any account or IP address that violates these rules.
Scan results are generated automatically by analysing publicly accessible HTML, HTTP headers, JavaScript globals, DNS records, and other technical signals. Detection is based on pattern matching and heuristics and is therefore not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
Results may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. You should not rely on scan results for legal, financial, or business-critical decisions without independent verification. AI probability scores are estimates and do not constitute a definitive statement about how a website was built.
Access to the developer API requires a registered account and a valid API key. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Do not share it publicly or commit it to version control.
API usage is subject to rate limits published in the developer documentation. We reserve the right to revoke API access for accounts that exceed limits, abuse the API, or violate these Terms.
All software, design, text, graphics, and data comprising the Service are the property of Ailiniyazi Maimaiti (BriefWizard) or licensed to us, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service.
Scan results returned by the API or displayed on the website may be used for personal or commercial purposes, provided they are not resold as a standalone data product and attribution to AI Website Detector is included where reasonably practicable.
Some pages on this website contain affiliate links to third-party products or services. If you click such a link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence scan results, confidence scores, or rankings. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, to the extent permitted by law, is München, Germany.

The Service analyses websites submitted by users of the scanner, browser extension, or API. Scans use only publicly accessible technical signals — HTML, HTTP headers, JavaScript globals, DNS records, and similar data any visitor's browser would already receive. We do not collect WHOIS registrant details, contact information, or other non-public data about a scanned site or its owner.
If you are the owner of a website that has been scanned and you would like it removed from our public directory pages (or fully delisted from future scanning), you may submit a request at /manage-listing. Requests are reviewed manually — not applied automatically — to prevent abuse, such as a competitor requesting removal of a site they do not own.
This is separate from the accuracy-dispute feedback available on each report page: flagging a scan as inaccurate helps us improve detection but does not itself remove a listing.
