Websites Built with Node.js
We have not detected websites built with Node.js yet. Our detection engine continuously scans new websites. Once sites using this technology are discovered they will appear here automatically.
About Node.js
Node.js is the JavaScript runtime used on servers for APIs and server-rendered sites. Detection relies on X-Powered-By values of Node frameworks and on a detected Express or NestJS application.
- `X-Powered-By: Express` (or Koa, Hapi, Fastify)
- A Node Server header
- Implied by a detected Express or NestJS application
- Not visible on static exports or when headers are removed
- A stack fact only — neutral on authorship
How We Detect Node.js
Our scanner identifies Node.js usage through the following signals:
- HTTP response headers: x-powered-by containing "(Express|Koa|Hapi|Fastify|Node.js)"; server containing "node(.js)?" (high-confidence tier)
- Signal weights for Node.js: 85 points per high-tier match, 55 per medium, 25 per low — a site needs 60+ points before Node.js is reported.
