PHP is the server-side scripting language behind WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Laravel, Symfony and countless custom applications. It is a language, not a framework, so a page rarely announces it. AIWebsiteDetector reports PHP from five kinds of evidence: the `X-Powered-By: PHP/x.x` response header, the `PHPSESSID` session cookie, relative links or form actions ending in `.php`, a versioned `generator` meta tag of a PHP application (MediaWiki, WordPress, Drupal and similar), and any detected PHP framework or CMS such as Laravel or WordPress. Many PHP sites switch the header off, and a static page can carry no signal at all: Wikipedia's article pages are detected through the MediaWiki generator tag, but the static portal page at wikipedia.org has none. If we show no PHP result, the site may still run PHP.
